PharmaToss is a safe and convenient medical waste disposal app, something which is not currently on the market. During our research, we discovered that many people do not know where or how to properly dispose of medical waste, so we aimed to create a solution. Our target market was not medical offices but rather the every day person taking medications. The app offers resources to educate users on safer disposal along with being able to locate and schedule both pickups and drop off times for medical waste, and for those who want it can even be anonymous.

Medical waste is an issue that plagues our world's cities, beaches, forests, ect to individuals with no resources with no resources, properly disposing of medical waste becomes a daunting and frustrating task. The majority of individuals do not know how to properly dispose of medical waste and resort to throwing items into regular trash.
PharmaToss aims to solve this problem through its safe and convenient medical waste disposal app. The app offers resources to educate users on safer disposal along with being able to locate and schedule both pickups and drop off times for medical waste, and for those who want it can even be anonymous. After researching competitors, there is nothing truly like Pharmatoss.
Unlike most medical waste companies that target hospitals and pharmaceutical corporations, our focus Is on the consumer. Our innovative solutions, like the ability to to schedule pickups for medical waste disposal, are what make Pharmatoss so special.

"The key to correct disposal is making it convenient and simple. An app to tell me of a location helps me find an easy, definitive way of disposal, any impediment will make someone choose the easier path (throwing the waste away, or flushing it)."
